See what you paid yourself from the business
Ask Clarity "what did I pay myself from the business" and it shows what you paid yourself over the last 90 days, and what you put into the business. The figures are matched from the transfers between your own accounts at any bank, so they come from your real accounts, not from an estimate.
How to do it
- Connect your business account and your personal account, and tag each one from the Banks tab.
- Ask Clarity "what did I pay myself from the business" or "how much did I put into the business".
- Clarity answers with the matched transfers for the last 90 days.
Common questions
Which transfers count?
Transfers between your own accounts. A payment from the business account that lands in your personal account counts as pay to yourself, and a payment the other way counts as money you put in.
Payments sent through Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal or Apple Cash aren't matched.
Does it work if my accounts are at different banks?
Yes. The match is made from the transfers themselves, at any bank.
What if Clarity can't find a matching transfer?
Then it says it can't tell from the connected accounts. Check that both accounts are connected and tagged, then ask again.
