What the Business plan includes
The Business plan is for an owner whose business money and personal money live side by side. It gives you room for up to five contexts, so more than one company can sit alongside your personal money, and one subscription covers both sides, not two. Every account is tagged personal or business, so you can ask Clarity a question about either side.
What it does today
- Separate contexts. Each account carries a context, such as Personal or Business, and a question can be asked of one side or of everything.
- A tax set-aside goal. The goal counts business cash only, never your personal savings.
- Tagged accounts. Every account is tagged personal or business, so a question can be asked of either side.
- Moving one charge. You can move one charge between personal and business, and every figure on both sides follows it.
- Subscriptions split by side. Your recurring charges are split by side, so business software never sits in your personal total.
- Your pay from the business. You can see what you paid yourself from the business over the last 90 days and what you put into it, matched from the transfers between your own accounts at any bank.
How to do it
- Connect your accounts from the Banks tab.
- Tag each account as personal or business from its menu.
- Ask Clarity about either side, for example "what did I pay myself from the business" or "how's my tax set-aside going".
Common questions
Do I need two subscriptions to keep business and personal money apart?
No. One subscription covers both sides.
Does the tax set-aside count my personal savings?
No. It counts business cash only.
How do I move a charge that landed on the wrong side?
Ask Clarity to move it, then confirm the preview. Every figure on both sides follows the charge.
