ClarityTrack next to six apps you may already use

ChatGPT Finances, Monarch Money, YNAB, Rocket Money, QuickBooks Solopreneur and Mercury, side by side on the same seven questions.

Every fact about another company comes from that company’s own site, read on 27 October 2026, with the link beside it. Where a company doesn’t publish something, we say “Not published” instead of guessing. Prices change, so check the link before you decide.

The short version

Reading your money is common now. What they do next differs.

ChatGPT Finances, Monarch Money and YNAB read your accounts, and they do it well. Monarch and YNAB are good dashboards and budgets, and ChatGPT Finances answers questions about your money for free in the US.

ClarityTrack reads too, then acts when you ask: it can log a payment, set a budget or update a goal, among 50+ actions. Anything hard to undo is shown to you first and waits for your yes, and it never moves, sends or spends money. On the Business plan, your money and the business's stay apart under one login.

Credit where it's due. Rocket Money's team negotiates bills and cancels subscriptions for you. QuickBooks and Mercury Books keep business books, and ClarityTrack isn't bookkeeping. Monarch, Rocket Money and ChatGPT Finances show you a credit score.

Acts on your records, asking first

Personal and business apart, one login
Yes, on the Business plan: up to 5 financial contexts on one subscription, with each bank, account and charge tagged personal or business. The Personal plan covers your own money only.
Bring your own AI
Yes. Connect ChatGPT, Claude or any Model Context Protocol client. It's off by default and read-only until you turn on write actions for that connection, and each write is previewed before it commits. No connected AI can move money.

Trial
Both plans: 30 days free. Card required, cancel before day 30 and you're not charged. The demo workspace needs no card and no signup.

Acts on your records, asking first
Its AI categorizes your transactions on its own, and its in-app assistant answers questions. Personal and business apart, one login
Partly: YNAB suggests either a separate business plan or a business category group inside your personal plan.
Bring your own AI
A public API at api.ynab.com, mostly read-only with some writes. No official MCP server; the ones it lists are third-party. Its ChatGPT app can't see your plan.

Its Smart Savings feature moves small amounts to savings on its own.
Personal and business apart, one login
