Export your journal as PDF

You can download all your journal entries as a formatted PDF — useful for printing, sharing with an advisor, or keeping an offline record.

How to do it

Ask Clarity:

"Export my journal as PDF." "Download my journal notes." "Give me a PDF of my journal." "Print my journal."

Clarity generates the PDF and gives you a download link valid for 1 hour.

What is included

Every journal entry in your account, sorted newest first, with:

• Entry date and type (note, dispute, reminder, etc.)
• Tags
• Status (for dispute entries)
• Counterparty (if set)
• Number of linked transactions
• Full body text

Common questions

Can I export just a date range?

Not currently — the PDF export includes all entries. Filter by date or type before exporting is planned for a future release.

The PDF link expired. Can I get a new one?

Yes. Just ask Clarity to export again. A new link is generated instantly.

How large will the file be?

A typical journal of 50 entries is around 100-200 KB. Large journals with many entries will produce larger files but are still fast to generate.
