Delete a memory

To delete a memory, open Settings, scroll to Memory Rules, and click the trash icon on the memory row. The delete is a hold-to-confirm action so accidental taps do not destroy data. The memory is removed permanently.

How to do it

  1. Sign in to ClarityTrack.
  2. Open Settings from the Dashboard header.
  3. Scroll to Memory Rules.
  4. Find the memory and click the trash icon.
  5. Hold to confirm. The memory is deleted.

Common questions

Can I undo a deletion?

No. Memory deletes are immediate and permanent. If you might want the memory back, pause it instead so it stays in the archive list.

What if Clarity learns the same thing again from a future conversation?

Clarity's memory extractor may recreate a similar memory if you discuss the same topic in chat. To prevent it, delete the memory and explicitly tell Clarity in your next message that you do not want it remembered.

Why would I delete a memory instead of pausing it?

Pause keeps the record around in case you change your mind. Delete is for memories that are wrong, embarrassing, or no longer relevant.
