Export your memories
To export every memory Clarity has stored about you, open Settings, scroll to Memory Rules, and click Export all. A markdown file downloads with one section per memory, including active and archived rows.
How to do it
- Sign in to ClarityTrack.
- Open Settings from the Dashboard header.
- Scroll to Memory Rules.
- Click Export all in the section header.
- The download starts automatically.
Common questions
What is in the export file?
A markdown document with:
- Every active memory (summary + detail + type + created date)
- Every archived memory (same fields, plus archived date)
- A timestamp of when the export ran
The file is human-readable and version-control-friendly.
Should I export before deleting my account?
Yes if you want a record of what Clarity knew about you. Memories are deleted as part of the cascade in account/delete-account and cannot be recovered after deletion.
Can I re-import a file into Clarity later?
Not directly. The export is a one-way record for your reference. If you want to seed memories on a new account, you would paste them into Clarity in chat one at a time so the extractor processes them through the normal flow.
