- Expand the Archived section to see memories Clarity is no longer using.
What memories are
Memories are short notes Clarity extracts from your chat conversations: stated goals, preferences, recurring questions you have asked, and context that Clarity should remember across sessions. They are user-editable; you decide what stays and what goes.
Common questions
Why does Clarity remember things at all?
Without memory, every conversation starts cold and you have to repeat context (your goal, your strategy, your situation). Memories give Clarity continuity so a question like "am I on track?" has a meaningful answer without you re-explaining what "on track" means.
Are my memories private?
Yes. Memories live in your ClarityTrack account database and are only used to personalize Clarity's responses to you. They are never shared with other users or third parties.
Can I edit a memory?
Yes. Click the edit icon on any memory row. See memory/edit-memory.
Can I pause a memory without deleting it?
Yes. Pause a memory to keep the record but stop Clarity from using it. Resume any time. Useful when context changes temporarily (you take a sabbatical, you finish paying off one debt, etc.).
