Set milestones on a goal

Milestones are progress checkpoints on a goal. They help you track meaningful waypoints — for example, paying off the first $5,000 of a $20,000 debt — rather than only measuring against the final target.

How to do it

Ask Clarity:

"Add a milestone to my car loan goal at $5,000." "Set a halfway checkpoint on my emergency fund goal." "Add a $1,000 milestone to my credit card goal with a target date of August."

Clarity will confirm the milestone details and save it.

Viewing milestones

"Show me the milestones on my car loan goal." "What progress checkpoints do I have set?"

Removing a milestone

"Delete the $5,000 milestone on my car loan." "Remove all milestones from my emergency fund goal."

Clarity will confirm before deleting.

Common questions

How many milestones can I add to a goal?

There is no hard limit. Add as many checkpoints as are useful for tracking your progress.

Do milestones affect the goal's target date or amount?

No. Milestones are informational checkpoints only. They do not change the goal's target value or projected completion date.

Can I get notified when I hit a milestone?

Milestone notification alerts are planned for a future release. For now, ask Clarity at any time how close you are to your next milestone.
