Check your investment portfolio

Connect a brokerage account (Banks tab, same flow as a bank) and ask Clarity about it directly: "how's my portfolio doing?", "what am I invested in?", or "how concentrated is my portfolio?" Clarity reads your real holdings and answers with your actual total value, allocation by asset type, and any concentration worth flagging, never generic investing advice.

How to do it

  1. Connect a brokerage account from the Banks tab, if you have not already.
  2. Ask Clarity about your portfolio in plain language.
  3. Clarity answers with a value and, when the question calls for it, a breakdown by holding or asset type.

Setting a portfolio target

If you want to track progress toward a specific portfolio value, tell Clarity: "set an investment goal of $200,000" (or ask it to help you pick a number). This creates an Investment Mix goal that tracks your real connected holdings against that target automatically.

Common questions

Does Clarity give investment advice?

No. Clarity reports what your real accounts show, factually, and can note a structural observation (for example, high-interest debt usually costs more than typical market returns). It does not recommend specific investments or make buy/sell suggestions.

Why does my portfolio value look wrong?

Brokerage data syncs periodically, like bank data. Ask Clarity when your accounts last synced, or manually sync from the Banks tab if you just made a trade and want the latest number.

Can I track multiple brokerage accounts?

Yes. Connect as many as you like; Clarity's portfolio answers combine all of them unless you ask about one specifically.
